I went to high school, and for a while, church, with Jim Jurgensen. He’s a fantastic guy with a huge heart and The Boaz Project is one way that his love for Christ puts his feet on the street to show others Christ’s Love for them.
I saw a bumper sticker today that said “www.boazproject.com” and something (that I don’t remember word-for-word) about the orphans in Russia. I think this is a beautiful effort that deserves your attention.
Hey! They blog with wordpress too! http://www.boazproject.org/blog/.

After 3 boys, my wife is scheduled to give birth to a girl on Sunday. Find the album already for pictures of this very anticipated little life here: http://memories.wingedwheel.net/main.php?g2_itemId=19
The main site, http://memories.wingedwheel.net/main.php will become a repository for our family albums. Gallery2 is an awesome piece of software.
Back to the little girl, no name yet, but we are leaning on “Katherine Grace” or “Julia Marlese”. Or a combination of either. All I know is I need to buy a canopy bed and a shotgun.

The title is AVOID being shellacqued. Believe it or not.
I’ve turned up an Amazon affiliate site at http://albatross.wingedwheel.net/
The point is to review products available at Amazon.com and link to them for purchase. The links are built at Amazon and as such, I get a credit/commission for them when you click the link and buy. As an added bonus, I get credit for ALL purchases made via the click-through to Amazon. So I don’t even have to review something in order for your purchase to benefit me.
This is only a request, please use albatross.wingedwheel.net for all your Amazon purchases. Ok, if you don’t, I won’t hate you. I won’t even serve you last if you ever have dinner at my house again. You won’t even be the intended butt of my jokes ANY MORE SO THAN Usual. But I did say “please”. Also: please tell your friends. =-D
Also, this post and that button is the ONLY mention I’ll make of it here.
